First off, WAY TO GO RANGERS!! World Series here we come!

Secondly, Halloween is next weekend! Time to carve those pumpkins, get your disguises ready, and your sweet tooth on!

We've already sold tights, leotards, leg warmers, & tons of tu-tus to many very creative costume makers. Here at the store we love hearing all about what the little ones are dressing up as this Halloween. It's so much fun to dress up as a fairytale princess, our favorite TV star, an animal or even a ballerina!

We've had a mom who is using brown tights and a leotard to turn her kiddo into a monkey,  very cute and very creative!

Fall has arrived!

Windows are down and the doors are open. Welcome welcome welcome to this beautiful fall weather!

Texas also extended a warm welcome to the "So You Think You Can Dance" dancers earlier this week! The top dancers of season 6 and 7 along with the amazing all stars performed at the Verizon Center on Wednesday night. Two of the Dancer's Closet girls were able to go and to say they truly enjoyed it would be an understatement! The strength, passion, and love they have for dance beams through their every movement in such as awesome way.

Courtney Galiano, an all star from season 4, who was also on the tour, represents the brand Heart & Soul. We have greatly enjoyed working with this company and carrying their products in our store. Their fun and unique styles have really become a hit with our dancers. Here is one of our top selling outfits. We happen to think it's super cute!

The Gift

We hope everyone has had a great transition into the school year! Here at Dancer's Closet we've been loving the back to school hustle and bustle. We also love getting in our back to school shipments and most importantly sharing them with you!

Yesterday we were able to meet with "Ballet Jupe" and welcome some of their wonderful designs into our store. Their skirts are all handmade, created by dancers, for dancers. With all the fun prints they offer, who wouldn't want to slip one of their skirts on?

Satisfaction of Spirit

It's that time of year again! Everyone here at Dancer's Closet wishes you a great start up of the 2010-2011 dance season. We also hope everyone enjoyed their summer break, and survived this Texas heat! 

This is a really neat time for all of us at the store. We love seeing familiar faces coming in to find that special outfit for the new "year" or the first time customers coming in to learn the basics of shoes, attire, and of course all the fun and girly things that come along with being a dancer!
